The "Role Model" project aims to develop innovative approaches for designing and evaluating AI technologies in the field of justice and law enforcement. The focus lies on integrating legal, ethical, and technical principles such as "Privacy by Design" and "Rule of Law by Design." The core of the project is a toolkit that enables comprehensive impact assessments and risk analyses while addressing the requirements of the AI Act and the GDPR. This toolkit supports stakeholders like ministries and judicial authorities in developing and implementing secure, transparent, and human-centered eJustice applications. A demonstrator prototype will illustrate its practical utility and application possibilities.
